In 2009, British salsa dancer Sarah Patricia Jones and her partner Nico won the Spanish talent competition known as T s que vales.
On the eighth season of Britain’s Got Talent, which took place in 2014, Paddy and Nico competed and ended up coming ninth.
He presently holds the Guinness World Record for being the oldest person to perform acrobatic salsa dancing.
During the performance, Simon Cowell booed, but later he admitted that he had booed too hastily and apologized for his behavior.
According to the sources, Paddy fractured a rib on May 29 while he and Nico were working on a new dance routine.
Amanda Holden voiced her displeasure with Paddy by stating, “I genuinely believe he could have won the entire tournament.”
The following day, it was disclosed that Paddy and Nico would still be participating in the program, despite the fact that Paddy had fully recovered from his accident and had a clean bill of health.
Reportedly in response to the question of whether or not he believed he was “fit enough to dance,” Paddy stated that “Britain’s Got Talent is something I sincerely want to do.”
On May 31, Paddy and Nico received three votes from the judges, which allowed them to defeat vocalist Bailey McConnell and move on to the next round of the show.
They performed another routine on June 7, 2014, during the live final, and they ended up coming in ninth place.
