Tom Hussey, a photographer who works in commercial advertising, won many awards for his series of photographs titled “Reflections of the Past.” The photographs depict an elderly person staring at the reflection of his or her younger self in the mirror with a thoughtful expression on their face.
The words of a World War I veteran served as inspiration for Hussey “It’s hard for me to realize that in a few years I’ll be 80. I can’t help but feel as if I’ve just returned from the front lines. When I look at myself in the mirror, all I see is an elderly man.”
