87-Year-old Rescued After 4 Days in Bathtub Thanks to Concerned Waitress… You won’t believe it when you see how she helped…

Because Doreen Mann has been a regular customer at Tomassi’s café for the past ten years, Sonia Congrave grew concerned when she didn’t show up for her customary cup of tea and piece of cake when she didn’t show up for her normal visit.

Doreen had been enjoying a bath at her home in Southend when all of a sudden, she found that she was unable to climb out of the tub because her knees had given up.

The elderly woman, who was 87 years old, was only able to keep herself warm by wrapping herself in a towel. In order to stay hydrated, she was forced to subsist on ice-cold water from the faucet for four days.

Sonia eventually called the Essex Police Department and asked that an officer check on the elderly woman at her home to make sure she was in good health.

The officer was dispatched to the elderly woman’s residence.

Doreen’s cries for help were heard by the personnel from the law enforcement agency, and they were able to save her by lifting her out of the tub and bringing her to a safe location.

Doreen, who is 39 years old and works as a waitress, made the decision to buy Sonia a phone because of how closely they are connected.

This decision was made in the case that Sonia ever finds herself in danger once more.

Sonia can be heard stating, “I’m just thankful she’s okay, I’m pleased nothing bad happened,” in the video that can be watched below.

I believe that it would be wonderful for all of us to take a little bit of a time-out to remember our neighbors or remember the lady down the road who you haven’t seen in a few days and simply offer a knock or a phone call.

“I believe it would be wonderful for all of us to take a bit of a time-out to remember our neighbors or remember the lady down the road who you haven’t seen in a while,” the speaker says.

Just say, “Hi, how are you doing?”
