Daniel Radcliffe, who portrayed Harry Potter, barely cleared the audition and considered stepping away from the film franchise for several years.

Recently, revelations emerged that Rupert and Emma also harbored intentions to depart from the Wizarding World series altogether.

Emma Watson candidly shared that her journals from that period were filled with reflections on solitude.

“I think I was frightened back then. There was a point where you realize you’ll forever be associated with this character,” the actress disclosed.

Rupert Grint echoed similar sentiments, admitting to grappling with comparable emotions during that time.

“I went through the same thing. I constantly toyed with the idea of walking away from it all. But we never discussed it with each other. It never occurred to us that we were all going through similar struggles,” Rupert emphasized.

Additionally, director David Yates confirmed Emma’s contemplation of leaving the “Harry Potter” franchise.

“Studio representatives and several crew members informed me that Watson seriously considered whether she should return to the project,” David Yates affirmed.
