An exceptionally talented choir brought an emotional wave over both the judges and audience on Britain’s Got Talent. Music, when delivered with such beauty, has the power to ignite diverse reactions—it can inspire cheers, applause, and shouts of joy or leave listeners wiping away tears. That was precisely the effect Johns’ Boys, an all-male choir, had during their breathtaking performance.
Before they took the stage, their conductor humorously mentioned how rare it is for them to sing for an audience—at least one made up of humans. “We rehearse on Sunday afternoons,” he explained. “In a cow shed. So, seeing two-legged creatures is a treat!”
Just moments into their performance, the crowd erupted with applause and cheers, showcasing their admiration for the group, which consists of singers aged 14 to 73. Their stirring rendition of Calum Scott’s “Biblical” left Bruno, one of the judges, visibly moved, with tears glistening in his eyes. Another judge, Amanda, later admitted she, too, had been brought to tears. The audience was equally affected, as a camera captured one woman discreetly wiping away her emotions.
By the end of the performance, Johns’ Boys earned a thunderous standing ovation. When the judges shared their thoughts, Bruno couldn’t hold back his praise, describing the performance as “divine.”
“The blend of your voices, the balance, the harmonies—it was divine,” he said. “I felt like I was in music heaven. Absolute perfection.”
Unsurprisingly, the choir received four unanimous yes votes, advancing to the next round. Their angelic voices, deserving of far more than just the ears of cows, are now set to captivate even larger audiences.
