A devastating chapter has come to a close in the Wyoming tragedy that shocked the world, as a fourth child has now passed away following an apparent murdеr-suicidе involving 32-year-old mother Tranyelle Harshman.
Previously, reports detailed how Harshman allegedly shot her four daughters before turning the gun on herself on February 10, 2025. Brailey Blackmer, 9, twins Brooke and Jordan Harshman, both 2, and Tranyelle herself succumbed to their injuries. Meanwhile, 7-year-old Olivia Blackmer was airlifted to a hospital in Salt Lake City, with hopes that she would pull through.
Tragically, on February 16, Olivia’s father, Quinn Blackmer, shared the heartbreaking update on Facebook that his little girl had lost her fight.
“I know this isn’t the update people were hoping for, and we are absolutely gutted to make it,” he wrote, adding that the family needed time to process before sharing the devastating news.
Quinn found a small bit of peace in knowing that his daughters are together, saying, “The peace I find is knowing that my babies don’t have to be apart from each other.”
Reports indicate that Tranyelle Harshman had been battling postpartum depression, PTSD, and severe depression. On the day of the tragedy, she reportedly called the police to confess to shooting her daughters, warning that she intended to take her own life as well.
Her partner, Cliff Harshman, told the Cowboy State Daily that Tranyelle had been suffering immensely. Now, two grieving fathers and an entire community are left searching for answers in the wake of an unimaginable loss.
