Scotty McCreery gathered a group of country singers to perform “Angels Among Us” and it is out of this world…

I cry because I like this song so much. Alabama initially composed and released Angels Among Us as a country Christmas song, but we like the new life that has been given to it lately! In 2017, Radio Disney and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital teamed together for an amazing mission. To record a version of the song, they asked a few of well-known country singers for help.

The song was destined for success thanks to performers like Carly Pearce, Hunter Hayes, Brennley Brown, CB30, Jillian Jacqueline, Lucy Hale, Rae Lynn, Sara Evans, Scotty McCreery, Tegan Marie, and Temecula Road. But what truly connects with listeners are the gentle lyrics, which reach out to comfort people in need.

St. Jude went above and beyond and brought these children’s dreams to life by bringing them on a trip to the recording studio! A dream came true for the kids when they got to meet the musicians and spend the whole day watching them record, listening via headphones, and experimenting with the audio gear.

St. Jude’s is a charity that works to help children and end childhood cancer for good. According to the information provided on its website, the facility has been successful in increasing the percentage of children who survive cancer from more than 20% to more than 80% when it first opened.

They sincerely think that they can make a difference in the world by working together with creative artists, committed companies like Disney, and giving people from the community. Isn’t it incredible what we are capable of doing when we all work together? A completely new version of the song was broadcast on Radio Disney, and the station called out to its listeners, asking for their help in raising funds and awareness for children with cancer.

According to the description of the video, it was a huge hit, and as a result of the song’s popularity, Disney was able to contribute $25,000 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Isn’t that awesome?

Radio Disney and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital were able to take a significant step forward in the battle against cancer impacting children thanks to the incredible performances of these artists.

You can see how much fun they had making the song by watching this video.
