Gwyneth Paltrow’s Childhood Home Is Now Offered for $17.5 Million – See what’s Inside!

The parents of the actor and entrepreneur, Bruce Paltrow and Blythe Danner, purchased the home in 1976.

The mansion where Gwyneth Paltrow spent her childhood in Santa Monica, California, is for sale!

Bruce Paltrow and Blythe Danner purchased the residence in 1976, and in 2008, Jerome Dahan, founder of Citizens of Humanity and 7 for All Mankind, acquired it. It is now listed for sale by Robert Lawrence Edie of Compass for $17.5 million.

The roughly 7,000-square-foot, 1913-built residence features six bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms and is situated on a double lot of just under a half-acre.

Following substantial renovations, the outside was transformed into a tropical sanctuary with lush planting and lights.

Guests will discover a garden with a fire pit, a Balinese-inspired pool and spa, and numerous outdoor seating spots tucked between lush hedges and tall gates.

In addition, there is a two-story guesthouse with a fitness center, dry sauna, bedroom, and office.

The home’s interior contains a remodeled sitting room with a fireplace, which can be accessed through an impressive glass-enclosed entryway.

Its kitchen features a marble island, Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, and an incorporated eating space. Additionally, the main floor contains a home theater and a guest room.

There is an office and three bedrooms with en suite bathrooms on the second floor, including the tiny master suite with dual bathrooms and a walk-in closet.

In addition to solar panels, backup generators, security cameras, and computerized gated entry, the high-tech residence also has solar panels.

“In a market of overbuilt mansions that are indisputably beginning to look and feel alike, 2020 Georgina stands out by giving a personalized and expertly created experience beyond anything I’ve experienced in Santa Monica,” said Edie in a statement.

In July, Paltrow gave Goop readers a tour of her current house in Montecito, which she describes as her “permanent home.”

The 49-year-old actress and businesswoman collaborated with architects and interior designers Robin Standefer and Stephen Alesch, as well as designer Bridgette Romanek, to construct her ideal family hideaway, which combines old-world features with sleek contemporary.

She presently resides there with her 51-year-old husband, Brad Falchuck, and her 18- and 16-year-old children, Apple and Moses, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Martin.
