The similarities between these two girls, both of whom are four years old, are all that any of them can see between herself and the other.

In point of fact, Jia Sarnicola and Zuri Copeland consider themselves to be so similar to one another that they are not merely close friends; they consider themselves to be “twins.”

Jia and Zuri made recent headlines all over the world when another child at a birthday party claimed that the girls couldn’t be twins because they did not have the same skin color.

While some people might scoff at the childlike innocence, the incident caused Jia and Zuri to become famous all over the world.

Jia responded angrily by stating, “You have no idea what you’re talking about. We are identical twins because our souls are identical.”

The girls continue to be persistent in their conviction that adults simply do not comprehend it and that love can triumph over any obstacle.
