Norwich, Kansas, which currently has a population of 450 people, is going to experience a further decrease in that number.

Following their graduation from Norwich High School in the summer of 2018, the sextuplets Headrick, whose birth garnered widespread media attention in 2002, will be going their own ways in the fall to pursue their postsecondary educations.

It is hardly surprising that Sondra and Eldon Headrick, the children’s parents, are going through a wide range of feelings at this time.

Sondra, who is 51 years old, expressed to Parents, “I can’t even put into words how proud we are of them.” “However, at the same time, you have to understand that we’re feeling a little bit down.”

Sondra mentioned that the fact that the 18-year-olds are completing their studies in Kansas is something that gives her a sense of comfort.

Ethan will major in technical networking at Wichita State University, while Sean will study cybersecurity at Cowley College. Both institutions are located in Kansas.

Grant, the most extroverted of the guys, has decided to take a year off between schools.

Sondra explained that “He is going to continue working and figure out what it is that he wants to do next.”

Jaycie, who was honored as valedictorian of the class, has decided to pursue a degree in primary education at Pratt Community College.

Melissa and Danielle, two of her sisters, are both students at Hutchinson Community College, where they are pursuing degrees in animation and graphic design, respectively.

Sondra shared that although Melissa and Danielle won’t be roommates, they do want to live on the same floor so that they can keep an eye on one other.

“The girls are actually really close to one another. They’ll talk about anything and everything into the wee hours of the morning.

Ethan, Sean, Grant, Jaycie, Melissa, and Danielle will, according to Sondra’s prognostication, experience “an awakening” over the first few of days.

“They’ve been together since the beginning,” she explained.
