Jonathan Majors and actress Meagan Good made their first public appearance as a couple on the red carpet, marking a milestone in their relationship.
This debut occurred at the African American Film Critics Association’s Special Achievement Honorees luncheon in Los Angeles on March 3, following two and a half months since Majors faced charges of assault and harassment.
During the event, Majors and Good provided an update on their relationship to Extra at the Los Angeles Athletic Club. Majors mentioned, “In love… We’re doing good, thanks for asking,” with Good adding, “We’re doing great. God’s good.”
Their appearance together came just a month before Majors’ scheduled sentencing in his assault case.
In December, he was convicted of one count of misdemeanor third-degree assault and one count of second-degree harassment in relation to an incident involving his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, as reported by Good Morning America.
Despite pleading not guilty to all charges, he was acquitted of another count of assault and another count of aggravated harassment.
Throughout the trial, Majors was often seen entering the courthouse accompanied by Good. In his first interview after the verdict with GMA in January, Majors expressed gratitude for the support he received from Good and others.
He described the experience as challenging, difficult, and confusing but affirmed his resilience, stating, “I’m standing.”
