This immensely talented, highly regarded, and exceptional actor garnered significant attention and admiration following his portrayal of a man sentenced to death in “The Green Mile.” Unfortunately, his real life wasn’t much better. His mother raised him by herself. After a while, a lack of financial resources led the aspiring star to give up basketball and drop out of school.

Despite working as a security guard, his impressive height, muscular build, and exceptional physical condition naturally led him to pursue a career as a bodyguard.

He later worked with Bruce Willis in the movie “Armageddon.” But he was able to portray his most famous role, “The Green Mile.”

Michael Clarke Duncan  has appeared in two motion movies: Planet of the Apes and Sin City. Unfortunately, the heart attack he experienced in the hospital in 2012 had fatal consequences. He was 54 years old at the time.
