Bruce Willis and Emma Heming have been happily married for more than ten years. Heming is staying true to her commitment to marry through thick and thin, even though the celebrity has received the diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia.
She finds herself revisiting certain memories of Bruce from when he was healthier, though.
Despite the devastating news of her spouse’s frontotemporal dementia diagnosis, Emma Heming persevered. The former model is teaming up with dementia experts to ensure that her husband receives the best possible care.
She recently posted a picture on Instagram featuring herself and Teepa Snow, a person who helps families learn how to work with dementia. Heming mentioned that Snow is providing her with additional skills for her “dementia care toolbox” through the instruction of new talents.
Heming is clearly dedicated to providing her spouse with the utmost care. However, this week, she discovered Instagram’s latest feature. Instagram’s memories feature showcases all the images or videos you’ve shared on the app before. Heming was reminded of a heartfelt compliment she had received on Twitter a year ago.
She reposted the video and added a new caption saying, “What’s this new Memory thingy on IG!? Omg, my biggest fan. I’m in love with him.”
Based on the video, Bruce is incredibly enthusiastic about his wife’s skincare line, Cocobaba. It seems clear that Heming might be reminiscing about a time when Willis was doing better than he is now.
Just the other day, some snapshots of the famous star popped up, capturing him strolling around Los Angeles and enjoying a cup of coffee. It’s quite unusual to see Willis out and about since he first received his aphasia diagnosis. He’s been keeping a low profile ever since.
The family has been incredibly forthcoming and honest about Bruce’s health and diagnosis. They shared an update on Instagram about the action star’s health condition. “We are truly grateful for the overwhelming love, support, and heartwarming stories we have received since sharing Bruce’s initial diagnosis,” expressed Rumer Willis, Bruce’s daughter, in a heartfelt letter to the editor.
She went on to say, “In the spirit of sharing, we wanted to provide you with an update on our dear husband, father, and friend, as we now have a better understanding of his current situation.”
Ever since we shared the news of Bruce’s diagnosis in the spring of 2022, his condition has continued to worsen, leading to a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia, also known as FTD.
She mentioned that despite the discomfort, they were still grateful that Willis had finally received the correct diagnosis.
It seems that actor Bruce Willis faced some challenges with his declining cognitive abilities, leading directors who had collaborated with him in the past to make things as straightforward as they could for him.
According to the cast and crew of the actor’s latest film, White Elephant, they would often assist him with his lines, even though he sometimes struggled to comprehend the words and would simply imitate what he was told.
A crew member later remarked on the situation, stating, “It was more of a concern about ensuring Bruce’s reputation remained intact rather than just a mere annoyance.”
“He struggled to grasp the meaning behind the words someone had given him. He was just being puppeted.”
Our thoughts are with the Willis family as they navigate through this challenging period. We kindly ask you to join us in sending them your thoughts and prayers.
