Mia Soleil Sanchez, a talented 13-year-old from Franklin, NJ, captivated the judges of ‘America’s Got Talent’ with her stunning rendition of ‘Happier Than Ever’.
Performing a Billie Eilish song is no small feat, especially for someone this young. However, 13-year-old Mia Soleil Sanchez from Franklin, N.J., proved to be truly remarkable when she graced the America’s Got Talent stage with her captivating rendition of “Happier Than Ever” by the Grammy-winning artist.
As previously discussed in other AGT stories, this year has been filled with exceptional singers, making the competition incredibly challenging. Despite this, Mia received praise from the judges.
“Mia Soleil Sanchez, that’s a name that will be making waves tomorrow,” Howie Mandel exclaimed to her. “I love every aspect of you, and I believe that both America and the world will share in this adoration.”
Heidi Klum agreed, commenting, “You sounded amazing up there. I love the look that you are serving. You are absolutely adorable and you possess such a fearless spirit, my dear. I must say, I am incredibly proud of you. Great job!”
Sofia Vergara, who has the last remaining Golden Buzzer of the season, but told host Terry Crews she wasn’t going to be pressured into using it, but would use it when she was moved, simply said, “Mia, I think you are a star.”
It was Simon Cowell who made a comment about her level of maturity.
“It’s really impressive how you were able to grow with the song. That’s no small feat,” he said to the aspiring young singer. “I think that means you’ve got great taste, you know where you’re going, so I really, really liked this audition.”
In the backstage area, Mia excitedly expressed to Terry how receiving four yeses and the opportunity to advance to the live shows is an absolute dream come true for her.
Afterwards, she made a call back to her home, which she shares with a total of 10 people, to share the exciting news.
