The most amazing moment we as humans can enjoy with one another is welcoming a baby into the world. Babies have a way of transforming even the most mundane events into ones filled with wonder and excitement. When we touch a newborn, we can sense their unending potential and our own pure love. Even though having a child is amazing, it is not always that simple.

One woman in India had been trying for years to conceive, so she and her husband decided to look into IVF procedures in the hopes of conceiving a child finally,   no matter the price. The woman in question is named Daljinder and was 72 years old at the time of giving birth to her first child. 

Daljinder and her husband have been married for more than 50 years, but no matter how hard they tried, they just couldn’t fill the void in their family picture.

So, they went to the National Fertility and Test Tube Baby Centre in Hisar to find out about IVF treatments. The clinic was first sceptical, but Daljinder insisted. She had to undergo a series of tests, in-depth exams, and many physicians’ approvals before being eligible to receive the rounds of IVF.

Daljinder’s persistence cost the couple 1 million rupees, which is about $12,000 US dollars. In the video, Daljinder explains how she came to her choice.

“I don’t care about money. I would have done everything to have my own child, and now here I am.”

However, both her determination and the financial investment paid off when the couple was finally able to meet their son, Arman.

“We cannot thank God and our doctor enough for blessing us with a baby boy.”

When Daljinder gave birth to her first child, Arman, she was 72 years old, making her one of the oldest first-time moms in the world.

Daljinder gave birth to her newborn boy in the most natural way possible, and she is also breastfeeding her son. Daljinder has said that having this baby boy has been harder than she thought it would be, but the parents have no regrets.

The arrival of a new child into the world is a lovely and often overwhelming experience, but for one couple, they not only welcomed the new baby but also greeted a large number of members of the media who came to congratulate them on becoming parents.

“Arman is a bit like a celebrity. He has invited all the media to our house, just like that political party in Delhi.”

Babies, especially miracles like little Arman, have a special way of reminding us of the magic that is all around us. We wish Arman and his caring parents all the best.
