Carrie Underwood, a popular country music singer, was injured in a horrible fall at her luxurious house, resulting in facial injuries that needed forty to fifty stitches.

She and her husband, Mike Fisher, had three miscarriages while trying to have children.They moved out of their luxurious house and into a rural farm that they had built from the ground up.

Underwood does not purchase any food for her family and instead grows all of their food herself.

Carrie Underwood became famous after she won the fourth season of American Idol in 2005. Her single “Inside Your Heaven” was the first country song to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Three years later, in late 2008, she met former NHL star Mike Fisher at one of her shows, and it was another lucky break for her. They soon started dating and were engaged in December 2009.

It has been stated that Fisher proposed to Underwood when they were in Ottawa by getting down on one knee and giving her an engagement ring that had a yellow diamond with a value of one hundred fifty thousand dollars.

Six months later, the couple tied the knot at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Georgia in front of 250 of their closest friends and family members in a ceremony that was described as “a spiritual expression of their love” by the wedding planner.

The newlyweds started their lives together at the enormous mansion that belonged to Underwood in a rich neighborhood of Nashville. In addition to this, they bought 400 underdeveloped acres in the gorgeous and semi-rural neighborhoods of Nashville, which are home to numerous other influential people in the country music industry.

Underwood was just over the moon. She was creating a life that had seemed like an impossible dream just a few years before, and she had found love with a wonderful man. In 2019, she told People:

“I feel like I was always meant to be with him.”

Underwood and Fisher decided to start trying for children after they had settled into their married life. In February 2015, they shared the wonderful news that they had had their first child, a son named Isaiah Michael Fisher.

Fisher’s team’s problems at work and their defeat against the New Jersey Devils were not that important. He was constantly in a happy mood when his son was born. At the time, he said:

“We are excited; there’s nothing better than being a dad…there’s no better feeling.”

The singer of “Somethin’ Bad” unfortunately had a run of bad luck following a scary fall on the stairs outside her house, which left her with several injuries. Fisher made the long trip back to Nashville to be with her after being away for work.

She suffered a broken wrist as well as cuts and abrasions on her body as a result of the accident, which took place just a few days after she presented the CMA Awards at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

In an interview with CBS News’ Tracy Smith in 2018, the Grammy Award–winning musician discussed the incident in detail, revealing that she received between 40 and 50 stitches on her face as a result of it.

Despite the severity of the accident, it was virtually little in comparison to what the singer had been through the previous year, which was another devastating experience she had during the release of her album “Cry Pretty.”

Underwood lost three pregnancies.

Underwood and her husband had a good start to the year 2017, but as the days passed, they came to the realization that they would have a difficult year. Underwood planned to make new music and have a second child.

They had a second pregnancy and were due in 2017. But that didn’t happen because they had a miscarriage. They came to the conclusion that it was not the ideal moment to have their second bundle of joy, so instead, they concentrated on getting back on their feet and finding out how to get through it.

Underwood maintained an optimistic outlook throughout the incident and avoided from becoming angry. She said that she never felt unlucky and that she had nothing to complain about.  

“I have a wonderful husband, wonderful friends, a wonderful job, and a wonderful child. Can I be mad? No!”

Underwood, who had already had three heartbreaking miscarriages, was devastated when, on a Saturday night while at home, she believed she was going through the fourth one of these experiences. She continued to ask God for an answer as to why she kept becoming pregnant but was unable to take any of the pregnancies to term.

She walked into her son’s bedroom and wept as she held him while she was certain that it was happening for the fourth time. She prayed to God, even in the midst of her despair, to give her the ability to have her kid.

Months after Underwood had an accident at their home in Brentwood, Tennessee, she and her husband put the house up for sale and moved to a custom-built estate 30 minutes from the center of Nashville.

An insider revealed to People that they made the choice to relocate after the terrible incident, adding that concerns over their safety also played a role in the decision. After purchasing the land in 2019, they began construction from scratch on their enormous dream home. This is what the artist shared with Country and Living:

“My spouse and I are creating our ‘forever’ home. My must-haves are a wood-burning fireplace, a porch swing, and rocking chairs.”

They created handy spaces for their two sons to play and develop in their custom-built dream house, which can fit their family of four. They plan to live there for the rest of their lives.

The house has several rooms, a basement, living areas with vaulted ceilings and large windows, numerous fireplaces, as well as bedrooms and bathrooms.

The kitchen has a long bench and a black table that make a breakfast nook with a beautiful view of the sprawling land outside. The couple can keep horses and other farm animals on their huge land.

Underwood’s farm home has been a good place for her and her family to live. She has learned how to grow her own fruits and vegetables. She says she doesn’t buy food for her family any more.
