A brave bridesmaid utilized a technique she learned from observing the late Steve Irwin to safely remove a snake from a wedding.

Animals are truly captivating and extraordinary creatures. Although it is important to treat every member of the animal kingdom with respect, care, and concern, it is often best to maintain a safe distance when doing so. Wild bears, tigers, and lions are incredibly powerful creatures that demand respect and caution when observed. Interacting with those animals can be incredibly risky and potentially life-threatening.

Snakes are often seen as creatures that many people would rather observe from a safe distance, behind a sturdy barrier. On YouTube, there’s a video clip that’s both short and shocking. In the clip, a young woman, who happens to be a bridesmaid, displays absolutely no fear of snakes.

With unwavering determination, she swiftly seizes the critter and expertly escorts the unwelcome visitor away from the wedding. As she grasps the reptile’s tail, it writhes and contorts towards her. In a remarkable display of composure, the woman effortlessly guides the snake away from the ceremony, firmly grasping its tail.

In the video, Erika Rodriguez openly shares her use of a technique for capturing and handling snakes that she learned from the renowned Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin.

“Yep,” Erika replied. I grew up watching Steve Irwin. He was my role model.”

Erika is an incredibly courageous young woman, and her sister will undoubtedly always remember her bold and fearless action. Erika’s sister was getting married that day.

No matter what Erika may have given her sister for her special day, it will be quite a challenge to surpass the bold act of confidently capturing and swiftly removing a five-foot-long snake from the wedding celebrations.
